St. Anne Institute, founded in 1887, is a progressive residential and community-based preventive services agency for young women ages 12 – 21 and their families. It offers a fully accredited Jr./Sr. High School for the emotionally challenged, pre-school for speech and emotionally impaired children, day treatment/family services, juvenile sex offender/sex abuse prevention programs, and family-focused clinical assessment treatment. The Institute, though governed and operated by a lay Board of Trustees, is an affiliate of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany. Our dedicated staff of 300 serves 800 children and families from 40 New York counties. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide inspirational leadership and guidance to staff and residents, and to develop and implement a strategic vision for the facility in these challenging times, while safeguarding our core values and mission to provide the highest level of care and rehabilitation in the briefest time. The President and CEO will lead, oversee, develop and execute all facility initiatives including its $17 million budget, fundraising activities and contract negotiations with regulatory agencies. This individual will also perform executive oversight of program development/implementation, supervise department heads, work directly with volunteer governing boards and serve as liaison to government, civic, community and professional organizations. Interested individuals should possess a relevant graduate degree, at least 5 years of Executive Management experience and knowledge of the NYS child welfare/education systems. The individual should also have a proven track record of effective collaboration with boards of Directors and government/private funding sources, and development of innovative public/private partnerships.
